Truman State University is a public liberal arts and sciences university located in Missouri, United States. It is a member of the Truman Football StadiumCouncil of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. Truman has 6,149 enrolled students in the Fall 2013, with 60% (3,677) women, and 4% (251) postgraduates, pursuing degrees in 48 undergraduate, and nine Graduate programs. Located in Kirksville, in the northeastern portion of Missouri, the University is named after President Harry Truman, the only president born in Missouri. In addition to the main campus in Moberly, MACC has six satellite campus sites across a large portion of Northeastern and central Missouri: Columbia, Edina, Hannibal, Kirksville, Macon, and Mexico. The college is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In 2010 MACC enrollment was approximately 5,600 students.
