Adair County R-1 School System, or Novinger Schools, is located just north of Novinger on Hwy 149. The school system serves residents of the school district from Kindergarten through the 12th grade.

Moberly Area Community College (commonly known as MACC) is a two-year college based in Moberly, Missouri, United States.
